Decentralise Kragg's throw power from dthrow#422

Dthrow does everything Kragg wants. It setups up into his vortex at low percents then sets up tech chases or confirms into dstrong at high percents no matter which way you DI.

There’s next to no reason to use any throw of Kragg’s besides bthrow to get people offstage if your back is to the ledge.

I really think power needs to be taken away from this throw, it’s much too over centralising in the thought process of what the rock brain should do when he grabs you. I think Kragg should either get a higher launch angle on the move so DI up and away prevents follow ups at high percent instead of the free tech chase or dstrong he gets to kill you with, he should act out of it slower so he’s forced to tech chase you or both so that this move which makes up way too much of his offence gets dialed back as it deserves.

I

This is really not factual. Down and away DI gets basically every character in the game away from Kragg and forces a tech chase. He gets confirms on the corner off stage and off bad di, other than specifically like Absa and Gouie (those are true kill confirms/dstrong confirms). Hold down and away at mid and higher, hold down and shield at low %. Kragg’s dthrow doesn’t get much confirmed; at high level it is a mixup. Holding down and shielding will work at the level you are at; it will stop dthrow dash attack combos. I think it’s really just Slade, Fleet, Absa, and Gouie that have a hard time with this specifically; they’re otherwise pretty hard for Kragg to get follow-ups on.

PS; holding down and shielding will sometimes stop the dash attack and sometimes you will floor hug the dash attack and then get either a tech or shield at low% before the next move can come out. He has answers here but he has to read them; dthrow is a lot of reads.

Yeah Kragg Down throw has never gotten me killed, but I understand if it’s just because my opponents arent good Kraggs.
