There’s still some rare instances where it becomes negative on hit at times when used on an airborne opponent. It’s enough still to allow them to shield.
As well the other problem is that if the opponent is too close and get dtilted while in the middle of slade this can also make the second hit miss if they hold hard enough in to get behind him. This generally happens when people wavedash into Slade, are landing directly on top of him or again, like the first thing, if they’re airborne.
Same thing also can happen if the opponent gets tippered by the first hit of dtilt when spaced, they can DI away and SDI away by accident to get out of range of the second hit.
