in rivals 1 it felt a core part of her and was the first thing i noticed. after 2 years or rivalas 2 i only just now noticed she had it cause you can barely hear it under all her other sound effects. on tippers you barely hear it, and on sourhits you hear the more unsatisfying lame sour noise coverig up any hint of the cool lightsaber sound. the lightsaber turn on sound being gone is really sad too
This is a byproduct of this game having overall very uninteresting sound design. Which still upsets me because Rivals 1 sounds so good in every regard. Play a character in Rivals 1 then play them in this game, the difference in their sound effects are sad with how much more distinct and clear they were in Rivals 1.
There’s a few outliers like Galvan magnet which sound really good. But largely this game’s sound effects and music are very boring to me.
