Monetization suggestion to help long term development#306

Simple suggestion which I (and probably many others?) would be happy to pay to help the game’s development health long term. Have an optional subscription for players to get with $5-$10 or other custom amounts per month for a sort of “live supporter role”, and offer like… a gold colored text for your in-game name or something. Something simple as a small incentive, but it’s mostly for players who WANT to help the game and can afford to do so with a monthly charge they voluntarily sign up for. Any other incentives could work too, but something like a gold name or gold icon border would work. I, for one, would be more than happy to sign up for a monthly supporter subscription because I really really want to see this game succeed and be long-term for the community.

To give an example, I play Tetr.io a lot and have signed up for its monthly subscription which is entirely optional and only for people who just want to support it. I get an orange name for it, where as the default is just white. So, just throwing this all out there.

Agreed, I would be on board for something like this.
