In Patch 1.5.0 this change was in the patch notes
Back Air tipper hitpause multiplier: x1.05 > x0.85
This reduces the tipper stun by 4 frames (23 > 19), making followups afterward slightly less advantaged. More importantly, however, it makes shorthop instant hitfall Back Air not confirm into tipper Down Strong at high percents in most cases. Non-hitfall tipper Back Airs can still confirm into tipper Down Strong if Clairen lands immediately after it hits, but with less leniency than before.
Removing rising bair hitfall back air -> dstrong made sense because it basically gave clairen a dstrong oos option. The patch notes specifically said they still wanted landing bair dstrong to happen but with how tight of a confirm it is, its been effectively removed from the game. If you land with the latest possible bair, it has a 1-2 frame window to hit and since the change at the start of the year, I can count on one hand how many Clairens i’ve seen hit bair d-smash.
Can some leniency be brought back to this confirm while still not allowing rising bair hitfall dsmash? Or is this an intended change that bair d-smash isnt used as a confirm in any situation now?

Clairen can have a little Marthritis just like the rest of us :)

clairen mains never seize to amaze me. you have the easiest combo game to ever exist in any platform fighter char, but once one of your cheap confirms needs some tight timing you complain.

what do you mean bair dstrong? i have never seen this before???
