I’ve been seeing a lot of strong negative reactions to Orcane’s puddle rework. Personally, I don’t mind it. I get where the devs are coming from and I honestly think it’s not as much of a nerf as some people make it out to be (To clarify, I’ve been an Orcane solo main since Rivals 1). Regardless, I do understand that this is a very controversial change, and I do think there could be a happy medium between the previous and current itterations of puddle.
Maybe if Orcane was standing nearby puddle it could slow and or pause the timer? I think could still encourange Orcane to constantly reposition puddle and not leave it on the opposite side of the stage while reducing the chances of puddle disapearing at frustrating times. You’d have to experiment with numbers like how far you can be from puddle or how much the timer is slowed by of course, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the duration of the timer has to be reduced, if this proves to be too similar to last patch.
This isn’t a “change bad please revert” post or anything, if next patch puddle functioned exactly the same I wouldn’t be upset, but I thought I might as well give some feedback.
